According to the internet a standard pillow is 50x75cm.
Ikea pillow cases are 50x80 cm.

Do you notice those unnecessary 5cms?

Does it mean that Ikea pillows won't fit in John Lewis pillow cases?

yes yes yes! It just waffles about. I gave it all to my mum because her pillows are from IKEA. I bought cheap cotton ones from Dunelm.

I dislike ikea bedding for this reason - they seem to deliberately use off sizes. I buy lots of other stuff from them but no longer pillows/bedding etc.
