It is currently charging.

I am actually looking forward to using it, it is very light.

Our older vac is over 12 years old, and leaves more on the floor than it picks up.

I would be MOST interested to hear how you find it, Js.

I'm thinking of getting one - hard floors downstairs & carpets upstairs & a bad back make it so tempting.

Well, the almost 7 year old used it to vac his room with no problems. I used it as a floor sweeper in the kitchen, and it picked everything up I could see. I vacced the stairs by starting at the bottom, lifting it onto each stair and turning it sideways from the middle to the edge of each step, repeating in the other direction.

The amount of dust/dirt in the collection section was horrifying. No one wears shoes indoors, so I have no idea where it came from. I will hopefully see less in it the next time I redo those rooms.

If you get it from Lakeland you could always return it if it doesn't suit you?

Thanks for coming back - I think I will get one in the New Year.
