Ive been using Tesco own label 'non-bio Silk and Delicates handwash' for years. I use it as my main laundry liquid as its gentle, dosent bleach, leaves little residue in clothes so it doesnt irritate the skin which is good for our family as we all suffer from eczema.And its cheaper than Ecover which was the other detergent that worked for our skin.
Also we really liked that it didnt have a strong smell.
Im nauseated by the smell of strong scents such as those used in Ariel or Bold so imagine my and my families distress when i recently used Tescos 'non bio Silk and Delicates handwash' and realised that the smell was now strong and overpowering . It gives a burning sensation to everyone in my families noses. consensus is that its revolting. its really horrible.
I hope it washes out as i cant wear anything thats been washed in it, Its really so sickening . i'll be using Ecover until the smell is changed for something more subtle.|
Besides Ecover, what laundry detergents have minimal smell?
I dont know how teachers deal with classrooms full of ariel and bold scented laundry.
