Those thick hessian type bags that don't fold grrr

I've bought a plastic thingy from ikea for plastic bags and stuck it in my utility room cupboard. But I've now got a crate full of these stupid bags, and it's just in the middle of the room, messy and driving me nuts!

Also I've another crate full of cloths, sponges etc, where do you keep those?

I so want to be tidy but...

I keep mine in the boot of the car.

Amrapaali · 16/11/2013 09:39

They live in the car. That is the only way I remember to take them shopping.

Karbea · 16/11/2013 09:45

All of them? I've loads! My DH buys one each time he gets something on the way back from the station (I have told him not too!).

Boot also so I don't forget when I go shopping.

PestoPeachissimos · 16/11/2013 10:14

In the car boot, all stuffed inside the biggest bag!

Karbea · 16/11/2013 10:34

Right, I'll put 3 in the understairs cupboard (I sometimes walk to the store) and the rest in the car then.

In a zip up bag in the car so they compress don't get everywhere. Bag comes in when we take the shopping out of the boot so we can pop bash back in as they are emptied. Much tidier.

NoComet · 16/11/2013 10:55

I shove them in one of those big floppy Ikea bags in the boot of my car. It sort of keeps them together.

mousmous · 16/11/2013 11:00

I keep them in the bottom off a cupboard in one of those hessian bagsthat won't fold.

Showtime · 16/11/2013 21:33

I've a few hanging on back of a cupboard in the hall, just a cupscrew required as lightweight, and thought I was the only one to keep most of them in the car.

zimmyzammyzoom · 16/11/2013 21:36

On a hook on back of utility door (next to one of those ikea plastic bag things!) all of hessiany bags inside biggest hessiany bag! Always mean to keep in car but can never be arsed going back out to car after I've unloaded shopping Grin

TwoStepsBeyond · 16/11/2013 21:47

Cupboard under the sink and I forget to take them each and every time I go shopping

Mum2Fergus · 17/11/2013 17:23

Thick plasticky ones live in car boot...hessian ones are pants, had 3 but they've been relegated to the loft with something or other in them ...

Frontdoorstep · 17/11/2013 18:35

I hate with a passion those bags for life. They take up so much space. I do on line shopping so don't get bags which is great. But when husband goes shopping he forgets to take the bag and comes home with another bag.

I ask my mother if she wants them, if not I bin them, not very environmentally friendly I know but they drive me crazy.

Choccybaby · 17/11/2013 20:51

For the cloths and sponges (and other odds and ends ) I have multi-pocket clear plastic organisers hung from cup hook on the inside of cupboard doors. These. I also have them in the bathroom for medicines etc and they're fantastic.

VerySmallSqueak · 17/11/2013 20:55

The hessian ones do fold to a degree,or are you talking about a different sort?

I keep mine in a wicker chest with day rucksacks, spare PE drawstring bags for swimming and the like.
