Stinky clothes - help!

I have some tops that no matter how much they are washed they still smell sweaty

I think it must be ingrained in the fabric.

Any ideas to rid it once and for all?

throw them out?

Well I did think of ditching them unfortunately one of them is a uniform top for work (self employed) and don't really want to replace them.
