Provided by you .

Ok starting in the toilet...
What products do you use (with a bit of discription as I am in NZ so products maybe different names here)
What do you do every clean, what do you do every now and then.
Do you use air freshener if not how do you get rid of smelly man bottom aroma.
How often do you clean.

Hi yawningmonster. Tend to use scented bleach in the toilet and then scrub it around. Needs cleaning at least three times a week as two small ds's here make enough mess (football time sized). They're already practising the how far can you wee up the wall technique. Don't use air freshner but have scented soap in the room and that seems to work well enough. Plus separated from DH so that helps as little men aren't anyway near so bad

toilet - toilet duck bleach in toilet hangy thing - keeps it really clean, other wise harpic cleaner

clean - once a week

mirrors - spray and wipe - glass and other surfaces wipes

floors - pine o clean - disinfectant and cleaner ( in one) and anything else that may need a disinfectant

bath - shower power - absolutely brilliant

every clean - floors, bath, basin, vanity, toilet, dust and hoover

kitchen benches - every day - either warm soapy water when finished doing the dishes of a morning and night or - an antibacterial/all purpose cleaner spray

smells - esp. male toilet smells - ambi pur no more smells/no more toilet smells.

I am in Aus so some of these may be brands that you can find in NZ....

every now and then - kitchen cupboards, and linen cupboard, mop out laundry room, scrub back deck, windows, dust ceiling fans, venetian blinds.

Am sure there are things I have missed but hope that helps.

Process

1.put shower power on basin and bath - wipe over mirrors and vanity, scrub toilet - if needed, wipe over with antibacterial wipes/disinfectant, rinse off shower power with shower, wipe basin clean.

  1. tidy bedrooms and then dust and hoover ( hoover has dust attachment)

  2. sweep and mop kitchen, bathroom , toilet floors

  3. tidy and hoover lounge and sun room.

Hope that helps.

Downstairs rumpus when I think - boy I haven't hoovered/swept this floor for a while, laundry when I feel like it.
