Non-smelly colours washing powder?

Title says it all really. As my coloured clothes seemed to be fading a bit I bought a packet of Tesco washing powder for colours. The kitchen cupboard now reeks of detergent and the washing still smells a bit once finally dry. What should I buy next time please?

I use Sainsbury's or Waitrose, but the liquid detergents not powdered. I haven't noticed either of them leaving my clothes scented.

If washing doesn't smell right probably need to boil wash with bicarbonate/vinegar and drain old water out if it

I use Tesco gel for coloured clothes that really doesn't have a scent.

I can tell you Ariel Colour gel is noticeably wiffier than surf or daz powder.

Watching with interest as I whilst I like a nice bit of clean smell I don't like to be overpowered even once dry, as I am currently.
