Help me clean the grout , pleeeease.

We have a puppy who has totally destroyed the white grout on the kitchen floor. Lots of muddy foot prints seem to have stained it.

What would you lovely ladies in the know advise I use to get the grout white and sparkly again.

Have tried flash with bleach and steam and neither have worked thus far.

toothpaste (the white kind, not the gel) or cif with bleach.

alternatively, HG mould spray from Lakeland or B&Q. it is a really strong bleach and will whiten pretty much anything.

Flash with bleach, rubbed into the grout with a toothbrush (or scrubbing brush if it's a large area) leave for an hour or two and rinse well. Just make sure no one can walk over it and tread bleach through your house.

Clean it with bleach so you know it's green and then get a white grout pen and colour the grout white again :)

HG mould spray but you'll want to rinse well to stop puppy paws getting stung...

I used oxiclean (or similar - the powder stuff) in a strong concentration on my floor grout. it brought it up really well, it was light grey to start but had gone practically black.

the oxiclean does take a lot of rinsing to get it off the floor as it dries leaving a 'haze'. but that was the only effort required as I just left it to work then mopped it up.

bleach mixed with bicarbonate of soda so it becomes a paster-apply to grout and it cleans fabulously.

HG mold spray.. It's amazing!

Product called Tile Brite that you basically draw onto the grout.

Wow thank u or all your replies. Will hg mould spray make the grout white again ?

The hg spray made grout and mastik in my bathroom white again (it was orange) - I spray and forget. But you'll probably want to rinse - the stuff stinks and has cautionary safety codes on it which are high.

Why not regrout with black or grey?
