Thinking of getting a Crock-Pot Sauté Countdown Slow Cooker, 5.7 Litre from Costco. Reviews are very mixed.

Any experiences/opinions/advice?

I have it's smaller and older sister and I LUFFS it!!! It's the most reliable bit of stuff I have had (ok, so it came with my DP but it's still brilliant!)

Are you after slow cooker brand recommendations or reassurance that a slow cooker is as amazing as you've heard?!

I've got a Crock pot one, I plugged it in and looked at the smart metre and it costs 2p an hour on high! They are indeed fab.

I'm after this specific one because it seems to have all the bells and whistles I want (except for a delay start timer) and is on offer at Costco.

A lot of the reviews sayit cooks too hot and keeps warm too cold. Was wondering about MN experiences with it.

I have this one and love the countdown timer on this. Never had a problem with cooking too hot or keeping too warm. Pain in the neck to wash though as it's quite big and just about fits in the sink.
