DD has had her room decorated over the half term holiday. It looks lovely now - as it should after all the hours I've put in sanding/cleaning/painting.
She has been a bit ruthless and has sorted out 2 bin bags of things for the charity.
I went through her built-in cupboard and her drawers and dug out all the stuff she doesn't wear because she doesn't like it (a lot of hand me downs thankfully) and the things that are in her drawers that don't fit. 6 bags of stuff await the cash for clothes or the charity shop.
And there have been 4 bin bags of tat too.
Her room should now be much easier for her to keep tidy and hopefully it won't take as much persuading to put her own clothes away now there is actually room in her drawers for it all!
