Help - fallen tree

Our sycamore tree in our back garden fell in the storm and is now lying in a neighbour's garden. No one hurt, thank goodness and no damage to our property.

We think we are probably going to get into discussions with neighbours about removing the tree, as insurance companies are being iffy about paying out.

Does anyone have any idea ball park costs for tree removal? It's circa 50 feet and access is likely to be a pain as we are mid-terrace. London based, if that's relevant!

Would there be anyone nearby who needs wood for burning and has a chain saw who'd cut it up for free to get the wood?

That's what people do around my way but we are semi rural so appreciate that might not work in London.

Definitely offer it in freecycle first

I'm guessing it will be gone that day, even in London
