I'm not house proud but it's even getting to me.

There's another week of building and then a lull before the kitchen arrives - is it worth cleaning through the house at this point? Or will fitting the kitchen create just as much muck?

And is there any chance hoovering will kill my vax?

I hired an industrial Hoover from HSS to clean once builders had knocked out and ripped out old kitchen, loads of dust and small rubble bits, it was well worth it. Normal Hoover sufficed after kitchen was fitted, lots of dust but not in the large quantities precious.
