Hob/oven cleaning help please?

Couple of riveting questions for you all! Grin

I have a gas hob - how do you clean the bits on the top that the pots sit on?

In the oven, I use Oven pride - I often have some left in the bottle. I'd like to use it to clean the racks as they get more manky than the sides - could I use a bin bag to put the shelves in? (As I can't clean the bag that comes with it that I use first time).

TIA Thanks

oven pride- don't know yet mine has been in the cupboard for a year waiting for me to use itBlush
hob- take the metal frame bits off and wash in sink. I use flash or flash with bleach for the burnt on splashes or sometimes Astonish oven and cookware paste in a blue tub.

Oh don't worry, mine gets done rarely Wink as I stick foil on the bottom to catch the drips.

It's just the racks that get mucky as DH loves to stick pizzas directly on them so you get all the toppings landing on them. May experiment with double bagging in small bin bags on the draining board.

If you hear a sizzling sound that'll be my kitchen melting Grin
