How can (or can't) I get it out?

DO NOT RUB IT!!!

get a bit of sellotape and softely lay it on the pollen...it will lift it off providing you haven't rubbed it.

Too late it has been through the washing machine. It is DH's shirt I only noticed the yellow mark as I was hanging up the washing, phoned him at work and he said "oh yes I brushed against some woman's flowers on the tube" (could have told me prior to putting it in the laundry basket - although at least it got that far rather than the floor). Is it beyond help?

If its' washed in then I expect it's there for good.

if tis white and 100% cotton, overnight in sink of water + capful of bleach is worth a bash.
