I haven't! (And I won't) :)

BUT I am ridiculously pleased with how clean my oven is after putting oven pride on it yesterday! Grin

I didn't do the roof or edges but the rest is perfectly clean! And the shelves are sparkly!

Just need to order a new bulb and it'll be perfect.

Oh and tackle the stainless steel hob, door as extractor fan. Any suggestions on that? :)

I have a box of oven pride (bought after the last oven pride thread) I've moved house twice since then and this oven really needs a clean! It's on my todo list, but I may well have just found the motivation! I want a sparkly oven Halloween Grin

Suddengeekgirl · 23/10/2013 12:07

Cbeebies - do it! :)
It is very very little effort - leave it for 24h and then rinse. I haven't had to scrub at all really.

Plus you can say - today I cleaned the oven, which makes you sound like you've been slaving away! Wink

Oooh. But 24 hours? What am I going to cook for dinner??
Oh curry! I'm off to do it now Grin

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 23/10/2013 12:16

Oh no! I've had it for so long the instructions are missing from the box! Anyone know where to find them on the inter web?

MuffCakes · 23/10/2013 12:19

No YANBU I used that white foamy oven pride stuff and my oven came out amazing even the glass door looked brand new.

MuffCakes · 23/10/2013 12:21

I just left mine for 4 hours and it was perfect.

Only thing that didn't work was when you halve the mixture into the bag to put racks in, they didn't come out amazing and they only looked alright because I used a wire scrub on them.

CrazyOldCatLady · 23/10/2013 12:27

DH generally just leaves it overnight. Though sometimes it's been 48 hours because he gets distracted.

Baby wipes do a great job on stainless steel.

Suddengeekgirl · 23/10/2013 13:21

Cbeebies - there weren't any in my box. Just do what it says on the box. :)

Will try babywipes next. :)thanks crazy

Yanbu! If I were your fb friend, I would fawn over pictures of your sparkly oven. Sadly, I am not joking.

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 25/10/2013 14:03

I have a shiny and beautiful oven! I almost don't want to cook anything in it now because it's so beautiful! Grin

Suddengeekgirl · 25/10/2013 14:29

It's good isn't it! Blush :)

I put the shelves in the dishwasher. When they come out they still need wiped but not scrubbed.
