My dining room table and chairs are disgusting horrible and stained. We can't afford new ones so a few weeks ago I went and bought some cheep PVC material and a PVC table cloth, I covered the seats of the chairs and it all looked beautiful (well it'll do until we win the lottery Halloween Grin)

An then dd1 go hold of a biro and has drawed all over the table cloth. I've used wet wipes, cif, even put it in a hand wash cycle in the machine (hand wash only) but it won't come out.

Any one know of a miricle stain remover, I'm gutted.

Usually your best bet is rubbing alcohol. You should put clean white cloth below the stained fabric, dap a bit of rubbing alcohol on the stain and blot with another clean white tissue. Repeating this several times is the easiest way to make sure the biro stain goes off. Nail polisher is another thing you can try!

After done with the alcohol, you should rinse the spot. If there are still problems, put some mild detergent on the stain (or what's left of it) and let it sit for 3-4 minutes. Then wash the tissue with water as hot as it is safe for the table cloth. Do tell us how it worked. :)

NB: Always test stuff like this on a hidden part of the cloth! Some tissues might get damaged by some substances.
