As a result of a leaking pipe my kitchen window has splash marks all over it that I can't shift. Have same problem with a mirror in our bathroom which gets splashed everytime someone showers. Anyone got any tips? Smile

Water and an eCloth usually work for me.

If the water marks are old, you will have to resort to some stronger detergents to remove them. If not, please do read on.

As for the stains, they are formed from the minerals in the water, some people call them "limescale". It's really easy to remove it! All you need is a spray bottle, some water, some white vinegar or lemon juice and a few clean towels.

Fill half of the bottle with water, the other half with white vinegar (or lemon juice, if you lack vinegar) and shake it well. The older the stain, the more vinegar you will have to use, up to some point of course. Spray some of the mixture on the water marks and wait about 5 minutes. Then wipe with a watery wet towel or cloth. The stains should be gone. Finally, wipe it all with a dry cloth and do repeat the dry cloth wiping every time you splash the glass. This will prevent further problems like this one. :-)

I hope this helps! If it doesn't, look for a product with "sequestrants". Those loosen up limescale and do the job.
