Best Steam Iron

Looking into getting a steam iron. The ones that have the huge bases. Are they really as good as the sales guff claims? Which model is best, cheapest and which to avoid? All tips gratefully received.

I have a Tefal steam generator iron and wouldn't go back to using an ordinary steam iron .I did do my research before I bought one and I think you have to look at how much steam pressure they produce.Some of the cheaper ones produce the same results as a steam iron.Tefal steam generator irons can be expensive but they do make ironing a lot easier.
