Smelly washer/dryer

If I do a 60c wash or use the dryer the washing machine smells dreadful and all the clothes in it. I've used washing machine cleaner and cleaned the filter and anywhere else I can reach but has made no difference. Any ideas why this is happening please?

I know exactly what you mean.
I made my mother replace her machine and mine is starting to pong. The downside of liquid detergents & not doing an empty hot wash once a month.

Thanks for the link Snowflower, lots of info there! I have tried hot washes with nothing in machine but smelt terrible after. I didn't have detergent in the drawer, though, so have ordered Ariel to try.
