Washing satin dress

I've just got my satin dress out only to find it has a huge great mark near the hem. It's a circular type mark which looks like it could be a watermark.

It it wrecked? Will it wash? Or would that only exacerbate the problem?

Thank you!

Way does the care label say? Thing is, satin is the weave, and can be made with pretty much any fibre (silk, cotton, viscose, wool, synthetics or any combination of those). The fibre and weight of the material will determine how it should be cleaned. If for some reason there is no care label, take it in to a professional cleaner and ask their advice.
