looking for a bin that is split into household and recylcing, just a bin, rectangle of plastic with a lid with 2 compartments.

So looking around I am gobsmacked by the prices £100 plus for a stainless steel pedal bin, £80 plus for a plastic. At the moment I have 2 £10 swing bins but thought I could get something a bit more space saving, but not at those prices.

Anyone have any suggestions

I got these a few weeks ago:

Still expensive for three bits of plastic - £39 - but they hold loads, and look really good in the kitchen. You can also buy them individually. We need three compartments here, but I think you can buy individual ones for about £16.

How do the lids open on those bins, are they hinged? They could be the answer.

Crazy how £££££ some basic kitchen bins are.

We have the three bin version of this and it's alright

Try this one
or this is less primary coloured.
Or this is more flexible.

We have wonky's last one. They are stackable so take up lots less space.
