Call from estate agents, they are bringing people round to view flat at 7. We are moving, house is a tip, how can I make it look presentable in 2 hours?

Fill them.

Place above bags in car.

Park car around corner.

Hoover

Spray furniture polish on radiators

Wash up.

Pretty much what nick nack said. Hide as much clutter as possible and go around with a damp cloth. Think the furniture polish thing is to make it smell as though you've been cleaning even if you haven't .

Genius, thanks for the help! i also put beef stew on the stove, which smells delicious, as long as the viewers arent veggie!

Too late for this viewing but I can honestly say that when we were moving we saw some terribly messy places but we just didn't care - you can see past that to know whether the house is for you.
