I have seen some ads for steam cleaners and they seem like a good idea, but are they any good. Have wooden/ tiled floors throughout downstairs and hate mopping (and rarely do it ) as they are left so wet, thought steam cleaner would be good.

Like the idea of no chemicals but not sure if it is a con.

Recs as to which one also appreciated!

watching with interest - as i saw an add for one - no chemicals - which works on wooden floors, vinyl, rugs & carpets, and i thought it looked promising.

I got one, back when I was still using Ebay! It's a SIMAC and it works a treat!

I wish it had an upholstery head, tho .

What do you use it for Expat?
