Occasionally a wet baby grow gets into the washing pile and small black mould spots appear - I have tried vanish, Milton ...so far I've thrown 2 vests but my favourite sleep suit with lovely mits has got it!! How do I save it?? TIA xx

I don't know, but am watching with interest. Our pushchair got damp in the garage, and is suffering with spots!

All the treads I've seen on here about black mould spots on fabric all say its pretty impossible!

Well I put the babygrow in water and a glug of Milton whilst some wise suggestions came along - that was at the weekend - I've been busy and never got round to sorting it out...the spots have faded to brown but still there. I think I'll try strong bleach just on those areas - luckily it's a white grow with bees on it so shouldn't matter. Will report back....though not a helpful approach for a pushchair though Smile

Try a weak bleach solution for a long time - I got the tiny spots off a favourite doll by soaking it in a bucket of solution overnight.

I thought the bleach would take all the colour out but it seemed to work - just make sure it's a very weak dilution!
