Flylady - Who does it? And does it work?

Have seen this mentioned on here a couple of times and was just wondering who does it and whether it is as mad and awful as it sounds or whether it actually has a positive impact on your house?

Does anyone have the book? I would prefer it read it rather than do everything off the website but can't find anywhere that has a copy in stock. Would be happy to buy a copy from someone.

Thanks

I have browsed the site but not subscribed to receive the emails, tbh I think they would drive me barmy. Have taken on board a lot of the tips though and fitted them around my lifestyle. Quite handy some of the ideas.

Thanks QE.

I like the idea that you get things done ahead of time rather than always running around like a tw*t.

Wasn't sure though if I'd stick it if it wasn't all or nothing. She seems to get that you will have a hard time to start off with but have to stick at it to form a habit.

A friend of mine who stayed with me this weekend was raving about flylady (not in a lunatic kind of way) - but she has no kids, so I imagine that finding time to do things is considerably easier. She explained to me "you have to spend 30 concentrated minutes on one task, then the buzzer goes off and you can relax". Looked at ds attempting to climb on furniture / eat mobile phone / god knows what and said "er, maybe easier when he is asleep?" to which I responded "when he is asleep I have to work". Flylady appears not to have worked out how to manage that!

Do you still use your (shameless hint at you selling it!!)

Does the book do a rundown ie Monday do this/ tuesday do that...that's kind of what I think I ant.
