Dry clean only advice please

How many times would you wear a suit (jacket and trousers) before dry cleaning it?
I have a couple of new suits and want to get the trousers dry cleaned with the jacket, rather than washing them at home and have the two looking different. However, this obviously adds to the expense.

Also, any advice for caring for the suit in between dry cleans?

I have 2 pairs of trousers for my fav suit jacket, so I can get more wear out before cleaning.
I won't mention how often I don'tget things cleaned tho.
