I have just done a coloureds wash including - amongst other items - my daughter's purple trousers, my son's games top (reversible blue/white with white collar) and a towel.

The trousers have leaked purple dye. Oddly, the only things that are affected are the back of the towel - which used to be white - and the collar of the games top - the main body is still perfectly ok. Everything else is also perfectly ok.

I have tried soaking and re-washing with Vanish to no avail. Any other ideas, please?

Thank you! I've stuck them in a sink of water and will run to the shops as soon as I can. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I've just done this with a new shirt ( red and white check now pink and red check!). What is the colour remover stuff called please? Useless because I'd usually just throw it out but it's new and I really like it!
