inspire me - I need a bedroom makeover

I love the Scandi look, but I NEED (blackout) curtains and carpet. I am also a very very messy person.

What features, furniture, fabrics do you love about your bedroom? Please inspire me.

I'm redecorating ours with a scandi look (hopefully)

White walls
Red ikea pax wardrobe in the alcove
White/ cream metal bed - still to be chosen and bought

We have wooden blinds but they're no good in the summer so need curtains in the bay too.

I'm thinking of some ikea fabric perhaps or their ready made jobs but need to go look. Unfortunately the budget won't stretch to Huss and helm fabrics.

I'm going to have lovely posh white bedding and some bright cushions (probably Ikea again).

I figure I will be tidy when I have a room I love with furniture that fits and has enough storage...

Scandi here too White brimnes bed, pax wardrobe, wood floor with rug. Er that's it ??

Oh except blackout shutters on the windows. Love love love them!
