Streaky windows driving me mad

I cannot get the inside of my windows to clean without streaking.

What the frick am I doing wrong.

I have tried using my steam thing but think its bust as is leaking water. Windolene just leaves streaks. I have used e cloths and kitchen roll.

Is there a magic way of doing them which means when the sun shines I wont notice the streaking?

Newspaper and vinegar.
Clean the insides vertically and the outsides horizontally.
I am impressed - cleaning windows is not very high on my list of priorities at the moment.

I have a window cloth I bought from Aldi - 99p for 2. They are the best things I have ever purchased, seriously. You wet them, squeeze out as much water as you can, and then wipe the windows with them. Hey presto, no streaks, sticky bits etc. Fab Smile

SirChenjin- I had a fake Chamois cloth in its own plastic holder from Halfords approx £4 it was so good I loved cleaning windows, i think my DH borrowed it and never returned it.

I bought this from Argos:

www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8551207.htm

It has a washable mitt which you just remove from the handle and wash like a cloth, and extension tubes for reaching higher. I use it both inside and outside. It's much easier than anything I've used before and doesn't leave streaks. I use a very small amount of washing up liquid in a bucket of hot water.

I Use hot water with minute about of fairy and a big squirt of dishwasher rinse aid - wash the windows using a cloth then polish with scrunched up newspaper.

Tesco own window cleaner is great & streak free. Windolene drove me insane.

Do not buy the Karcher window washer .... It is so crap.
E cloth and water better.
Vileda do window cloths that are good.

E cloths and water. Lightly spray window with water. Clean with cleaning e-cloth, go over with polishing e-cloth. Job done. Don't faff about with horizontal and vertical wiping, you won't have streaks so don't need to.

First bowl with warm water with a tiny drop of orginial fairy liquid.
Normal cloth. Wash window with this.

Second bowl with only warm water, and a sheepskin leather chamois, like this from halfords Sparkly clean windows without any streaks.
