Any opinions on buying a steam cleaner for a kitchen floor?

Just what it says really! Not cheap I cna see but supposed to clean yucky floors easily and hygenically. All sounds a bit good to be true as I look at our kitchen floor (wink) Any advice/ experience v welcome!

I've got one but never use it, you're welcome to buy it if you want? Vac one, used about 3 times

Get a 2 in 1 use for floors, tiles, windows, stainless steel, cupboard doors, gloss work erm. .. and probably more Ooh shower screens!

Best thing I ever bought worth every penny (and I say that as someone who had to spend half a weeks wages so it was proportionately extremely expensive)
