Why is my washing so creased?

I've just bought a new washing machine.

I always put the washing on a 900 spin, it can do 1400 but I know that's no good for creasing.

Why would it be so bad at 900.
My old machine was a 1000 spin and didn't crease clothes.

I always use fabric conditioner.

What can I do to make the clothes come out of the machine looking less creased.

Have you tried doing a 1400 spin - I use that and creasing isn't too bad? I find with a slower spin it all slumps in a soggy heap at the bottom.
Don't overload the machine - is the drum smaller than your old one?
Remove the washing as soon as you can after it finishes

The drum is smaller so I have to put less in.

I try to take it out straight away.

With my old machine if I left it in it didn't crease like it does now.

some washers have an anti-crease cycle where they give the wash a slow tumble to and fro after spinning to try to get the creases out. Did your old one?

Yes it did, will look to see if the new one does also.

Mostly shaken then put on the line . Sometimes I tumble dry if the weather is dodgy.
