Where do you store your toddler's shoes?

Looking for ideas on where/how to keep my DD's shoes. We don't seem to have a 'home' for them and they get randomly left around the house.

DS' get put straight back into his buggy bag so we know where they are for the morning rush but, erm... He only has 1 pair - they're expensive and last about 8 weeks!

I made it sounds like she has loads - she has one pair of Clarks shoes (just bought for winter), one pair of imitation crocs (from Poundland), and a pair of Clarks summer sandals that she's finally decided she wants to wear having refused to wear them all summer - and a pair of slippers I've just bought that she's currently refusing to wear (she will probably decide to start wearing them in spring...). And I'm going to buy some wellies this week.

The DC store their crocs by the back door (on a shoe rack) and their main shoes on a rack in the porch. All oir shoes are together so we can get them easily in the mornings.

Thanks Cat, keeping them by the door would make sense. Need to think about whether we can reconfigure stuff to create some space by the door.
