Has anyone had one before? What are they like? We are lookig for some mattresses for dc's bunks and there are some in argos that have a large discount on but they are fibre core and I'm not really sure how good that is?

They might be made of coconut fibre, which used to be inaccurately called horsehair mattresses.

They are a bit firm, and have no spring. They eventually mould to the body (which means they end up with a dip in the middle). They are heavy to turn.

apart from possibly a keen environmentalist, I can't see a reason for buying one.

or it might be a synthetic fibre. Not many clues on the website

Both DCs have/ have had sprung plus coir mattresses for cot beds, and we've got on well with them.
