Urgent - How to get gloss paint off of tiles and glass?

Was a bit to enthusiastic when painting some french doors today (lots of little panes of glass in) and couldn't be bothered with the masking tape, so of course the paint is on the glass, and some has dripped onto the floor tiles too

Anyone have one of those invaluable tips that involve newspaper and spit or some other household item that will clear it up ( it'll be dry now!).

I can't leave the house as ds is asleep to buy a scrapper, but want to clear it away before dp gets back and sees what a hash of it I've made.

white spirit? fingernails?

leave it til dry and cut the edge with a sharp knife......CAREFULLY..... and neatly! on the window, making a nice staight edge then scrape with a window scraper( the ones with a knife blade in) perpendicular to your cut.
The tiles where smooth just need a scrape and a wipe with white spirit.
if its in the grout of the tiles use an old philips screwdrider to where it away and leave the fresh grout underneath.

oh read it again sorrry no scraper
Take the blade from a stanley knife and use that as a scraper.
mind you dont cut yourself.
failing that leave it and do it the first way when you have a scraper as you'll probably wreck you paint work otherwise or scratch the glass.

Thank you, I guess there's no magic lazy solution so I'm off to scrape with a vegtable knief!

you could try nail varnish remover on a small bit to test if that works?

have to let it dry,I'm afraid and then scrape it off with a knife
