I've been on here for about 3 years now, but in the last few weeks I've ventured off the chat/aibu pages and have been transformed.

I have started low carbing and found a diet that really, really seems to suit me. I actually love it and have lost 7 lbs.

I have started shopping with Moneysupermarket and slashed my shopping bill.

I am hovering around the Christmas threads for ideas,

so, what else can I learn. What tips do you have that you either learned here or brought to the table.

I love 'never leave a room empty handed', housekeeping is something I don't mind, but with 2 small dc it is increasingly onerous and I'd love to learn some great short cuts.

"Don't put it down, put it away" is my mantra.

I follow FlyLady routines, but without the "God Breeze" cheesy-o-Rama. Having the house divided into zones, with other tasks to do weekly works for me.

Oh, and cooking with a slowcooker is fabulous. How wonderful it is to know at lunchtime that dinner for today is sorted and that there will be another portion or two (I always cook double or triple in a slowcooker) is going in the freezer.
