I have a 5 year old ds so that may well be the cause but my bathroom just smells of wee all the time. I have washed the floors regularly and cleaned toilet and can't find any accidents but it still smells. I seem to be the only one that smells it though - so feel like I am going mad - help

Sorry no advice but will be watching closely as I have the same problem in my d/s loo! I have scrubbed all over Hmm

Have you checked the radiator? We had this problem with two DSs and I eventually found splashes of wee on the radiator. Once that was properly cleaned it made a big difference.

No radiator in there - just heated towel rail which isn't near toilet. We are going to replace flooring in there soon anyway. I am wondering if its the toilet itself not being flushed enoughHmm

Are you in a hard water area? Could it be there is lime scale under the rim so you can't really see it but it is holding the urine and then smelling.

It may be the flooring, underneath it - wee can seep through especially if 5yo is just missing (mine does - grim) and it's dribbling down the front of the toilet bowl.

When you replace the floor make sure that it's properly sealed around the toilet base with a long lasting waterproof sealant!

Also, try cleaning walls near the toilet but it will most likely be the floor.

I had this problem and I think it was because the wee had seeped into the grout on the bathroom floor tiles. I scrubbed, bleached, everything. In the end we bought a steam mop and after a few goes with that its smelling ok.
