waterproof sheets/mattress protectors

does anyone have a recommendation for single bed sized waterproof sheets that are up to being washed at least 3-4 times a week? Or anything that isn't totally useless (just chucked last lot away - one ripped & the other two weren't actually waterproof).

thanks!

Mine came from a Linens Direct store. I used to have one that was all plastic and the wet seemed to go straight through it. The ones I use now are plastic one side and fabric the other. The wet doesn't go through. I also put a sheet on the mattress underneath the mattress protector, folded several times and just covering most of the bed but not the top or bottom. I find that prevents anything that gets through from damaging the mattress.

I got one from Tesco...was washed 3-4 times a week as DS became night time dry. Washed up well and dried super quick.

Hippy Chick ones are fab. I get them from Amazon. They don't leak and they feel normal to sleep on. I use them on our bed too as the DC have all been vomiters and it's less stressful to protect my own mattress than to risk them puking in my bed. DH hasn't even noticed that we are now sleeping on a "bedwetters" sheet! DS wets his bed frequently and his mattress is pristine. The sheets don't dry instantly but I find they do dry by nighttime if they're washed first thing and spun well before hanging to dry. I do have 2 for his bed though just to make life easier. The ones on my youngest's cot have been going 6 years now and have been washed frequently and look like new.
