hi all! I'm hoping a whizzy hand held Hoover type thing is going to change my life. sadly i don't think i can justify the dyson price tag, so what's the next best option?

thanks!

should have added, I've got a proper vacuum for proper cleaning- but was looking for something smaller mostly to pick up remnants of dc dinner and other debris...

I am currently pining for a Black & Decker. As I understand, it's the 18V that makes the difference Grin Their Dustbusters are generally supposed to be quite good.

Or you take a shot on one of the cheapies in Argos or similar Smile They're around £15-20. Personally, I'm saving for something B&D-like not impressed that the price has just gone up though.

Don't get the Argos cheapie! We had one and they're awful, really one step away from completely useless.
I love my Dyson.
I finally got it after my mum and sister both got one, and it's been life changing, especially with cats and a crawling baby. Whizz whizz clean!Grin
Worth every penny.

cheapskatemama I know Sad It was £60 the other day... saved in my wish list hoping it will go down a little!

Goodness I never thought I'd see the day when a handheld vacuum cleaner was an item I longed for. I'm only 24.

I love my dyson handheld. It's as powerful as a regular Hoover. It's all I use downstairs now.
