Gah Housework

I have done it again, left it until there's tons. TBF we both work, me 25hrs and DH f/t, two in primary school. I have managed to keep on top of the school clothes but thats it It's only been a week!

So today:

Dishes (by hand, no dishwasher)
Washing (have 2/3 loads)
Drying (pissing with rain, so hi-dry or dryer)
Beds to change x3
Hoover everywhere
Cat litter
Mopping
Dusting
Loads more that I have forgotten

Anyone else?

Yup....We have people coming round tonight and I have to get the house from a slightly grubby, cluttered and disorganised pile into a gleaming fragrant shining example of loveliness!!! Where oh where is the housework fairy when you need her?

Would love one! Recently moved and have some work going on so all is not well with the house at the minute, can't wait until it is all over with!

Just spent 40mins on phone to British Gas due to an astronomical estimated bill since we moved in (June!) thankfully previous owners gaev a reading in April and theirs is in line with ours, and this other figure appears to have been snatched out of the air, fingers crossed it gets sorted out

Back to the washing...
