I think you can get aerosol type things that blast air into the keyboard and force out all the gunk

turn it upside down and shake gently

You can get a lot of the crap out with a hoover with the soft brush on the end (and the suction turned down, ideally, if you don't want to lose any keys Grin)

(We hot-desk at work and I think one of the women must have OCD, whichever desk she has to sit at requires her to clean it and the keyboard vigorously with the puffer and wet wipes before she starts.)(So I follow her round and sit at her clean desk next day!)

Ooh JanH - perhaps you need me there too - I don't clean my keyboard out, but do like a nice clean desk, but am very fussy about cleaning out my mouse, taking out the mouse ball and cleaning the gunk off the rollers that stops the mouse from being accurateGrin. It's very satisfyingBlush.

I agree with 006 - drop into PC world and spend a tenner, keyboards are so cheap these days

What do you do about cleaning laptop keyboards, as obviously they're integral so buying another isn't an option!
