stain on leather sofa - any suggestions would be gratefully received!

There is a stain that has just appeared on one of the seats of my cream leather sofa - it looks almost like it could be lily pollen but my initial thought is that someone has taken a yellow felt tip and has scribbled on the seat. As we don't have kids and the cats aren't that clever I can't see how this would be possible!

Have tried washing up liquid and a damp cloth but it's not budging.

Any ideas? It's in a really obvious place and I can't even cover it with a cushion....

Hmm it may just wear off over time...

I'm being impatient! Grin

It hasn't budged at all - and I have to admit I've really tried to "scrub" at it with the cloth. Hope, hope, hope it does wear off but I'm not sure.....

Saddle soap. Order online or get from any tack shop. Cleans leather brilliantly.

Sadle soap

Or

Baby wipes!

Baby wipes clean just about anything

ohfourfoxache · 26/08/2013 20:37

That's really good to know - not having DCs I have to admit that I would never have thought of them! I may have to add them to my permanent shopping list!

Dove soap got a curry stain off my cream coloured leather sofa, so may be worth a try.

Perfume removed a biro pen mark from our cream leather sofa.
