Help! I have a wet Ikea sofa cover on my kitchen floor

DH just went to pick up a sofa bed with bleckinge white loose covers and of course, everything got soaked in the awful rain. Also a little muddy. He took the covers off, and we think we can wash them.

I am game for this, but does anyone have any tips? Should I attempt to put the covers back on when damp to try to prevent creases? It says to wash them at 60 on the label, but I am worried about shrinking....

we had an ikea sofa with washable covers. i would turn everything inside out if possible and wash just with cold water. line dry if you can and put it back on the sofa while slightly damp so it stretches back to shape.

Blekinge white covers can be washed at 60 degrees. I turn ours inside out, wash at 60 with powder for whites. Line dry and put on when completely dry. They get stretched when you put them in so no need to worry about creases.
