My kettle has died, any recommendations for a new one?

I know this is hardly riveting, but after the sad demise of my last kettle (it cost £4.99 from Woolworths about 10 years ago) I need a new one. I'm in a hard water area so I need one that will stand up to frequent descaling and is white or grey. Not the same budget constraints these days, but it won't get massively heavy use so doesn't need to be mega bucks.

Hullo all - we're just going to move this to Good Housekeeping for the OP.
