Dishwasher problems

I've got issues with the dishwasher. All of the glasses and mugs tend to come out covered in an orange sediment.

I've cleaned and wiped out the inside of the washer. Cleaned the filters and spray arm. I've also run a dishwasher cleaner through it.

We live in a soft water area so it's not a lack if salt problem. I use the finish power ball tablets.

Any idea what is causing this and how to stop it?

I know you have soft water - but is there salt in the reservoir? The 3 in 1 tabs don't actually have enough salt.

sandy sediment is food particles.

Orange stains are tomato, especially from oily foods like curries and bolognase.

Is it sediment on the tops of things, or is it a stain especially on plastic?

Use salt and rinse aid, it gives much much better results than relying on multipurpose tablets.
