I keep seing the adverts on tv for steamers and wondered if they are actually any good.

Is it one of those things I would buy but never use?

I have tiled kitchen and engineered wooden floors downstairs.

Thanks

We have a vax cleaner that has lots of gadgets and scrubby brushes and nozzles and its fab. We used it to deep clean our house before putting it on the market, and I've just used it to clean the new place we've just moved into.

I haven't used it on the floor yet but will need to soon so will report back

So if I was to get one, should I go for a carpet only one like this

Or go for the multi gadget one?

We have just got the H20 mop from QVC (£70). Although it wasn't as easy to clean things as shown on the telly demo, we have now a sparkling oven, clean hob and have used it on skirting boards, grout in the bathroom as well as cleaning tiled and karndean floors.
Quite pleased with it for the money.
