So in line with the big declutter, I cleared under the bed, which happened to be housing several of those large vac packed clothes storage bags, you know the type, 'stick your clothes in, suck all the air out, storage in half the space' yadah yadah yadah.
Well, i'm so disheartened at what I've discovered. Opened the bags to start sorting out the clothes into keep/charity/throw away only to discover that all the clothes absolutely stink. I mean mildew/moldy stink. It's vile. Have put a load in the wash to try and get rid of the smell, even the ones for charity, there is no way they would take them in their current state. we followed the instructions for storing the clothes to the letter, i didn't think this was supposed to happen! Has anyone else discovered this with these types of vac packs?
