How do you manage not to make a mess/spill it everywhere each time?

Do you use some kind of scoop?

It pours out of the bottle. I spill a bit into the dishwasher most times, but I figure that's just bonus cleaning! Still cheaper than tablets.

i use a small scoop, used to use an old tablespoon

A bottle? That sounds like a good design.

The stuff I bought is in a box: like the old-fashioned w/m detergent. And it has a spout-thing for pouring. But it seems so messy.

I bought one bottle of finish powder with a pouring spout. Then I refill it with Tesco Daisy dishwasher powder. So much cheaper and just as good.

washing machine powder here but the same idea. I use a little cooking Tupperware pot.

Rhinopotamus: I like your style! Thanks all.
