Cookbooks

Hello,

Can you all please share with me where you keep your cookbooks?

I don't have anywhere for more than one shelf in my kitchen and it's not big enough for all my books :/

I keep mine on a bookcase in the living room. When I'm following a recipe I take the book into the kitchen.

In a storage box on its side on top of the fridge.

I currently keep them in an upper kitchen cupboard, but prior to that I had them on a bookshelf in the living room just outside the kitchen.

I have a small cupboard above the fridge and keep mine in there.

Mine are all on a bookcase in the kitchen but before we moved the bookcase was in the living room next to the couch.

Currently in a small bookcase in the kitchen.

In previous home, on a bookcase in the living room with the rest of the books.

Currently they are all across the kitchen windowsill and on two small shelves in the kitchen. The window sill is far from ideal though, as several times it's rained on them through the open window!

On an end shelf unit which is impractical for anything else. My cookbooks take up both shelves. The others I use less frequently are on the bookshelves in the lounge.

My kitchen cupboards don't reach up to the ceiling. If I stand on tiptoe I can just reach them. The only problem is that they seem to get covered in a layer of grease (not sure how, but I realise that makes my cooking sound horrendous).

Sorry for the double post. I pressed send then realised that I forgot to say that as there's a gap between the tops of the cupboards and the ceiling, I keep the books up there.
