Very boring question coming up. Just bought above from argos, it has a button on front for 1/2. I'm guessing its for half load but nowhere in the manual does it say a trying about it. Do I assume you can have half load option on any of the programs? On my washing machine half load is only available on certain progs so wonder if this is the case with dishwashers too. Anyone???

Does n't half load on a dishwasher mean that you just wash one basket either top or bottom, it's not like a quicker wash in a washing machine, at least not with my dishwasher. Must admit I never use it.

But there isn't añy way of selecting top or bottom basket as far as I can see?

I don't know, but I will guess that it uses a smaller amount of water, therefore uses less electricity in heating it up (which is where the cost comes) and should be quicker as the heating time will be shorter, If you have no cooking pans and the plates are not greasy, give it a try, and see what you think of the results. Teacups and teapots need a thorough wash or they may come out stained.

I would say write to the maker, but Bush is an own-brand so may come from anywhere.
