How much is an average cleaning service?

I want to get a cleaner for home. I go back to work in three weeks time after having our second child and need some help!
I would prefer to go through a company rather than an individual, but know this will prob cost more.
I live in the midlands.
I was quoted £12 per hour by a company that has been recommended by my good friend.
What's the general going rate!?

I pay an individual 10x hour x 4 hours a week in London. I was quoted 13 a couple of years ago by two separate companies.
